Modification-Point Cost (M.P.C.): None. You will automatically have this ability if you started this class at the creation of your character. If you started this class after leveling, the MPC is: 70
Take control of an incoming energy attack that directly effects you. This cannot be acomplished unless you see it coming. Energy cannot be controlled from a back-side or back-attack. If you wish to redirect an energy attack at a target, you must roll to strike that target as normal, and must not have taken an offensive turn previously. You may only direct an energy attack at a target if you are facing it directly (front).
Ability-Points to invoke: 35 (per energy attack you attempt to control).
To do this, you must successfully do the following in order: 1. Center. 2. Off-Line Defense.
Maximum adjustment: N/A
Note: Defense Mastery is not possible if you are surprised.
